Great Friends

Ava and I made a fun trip to McKinney, Texas to visit our friends, The Tobeys. Ava and Madison met for the first time. They played very well together. We also got to meet up with our Dinner Club friends. Soon after Blake and I moved to Frisco, we met wonderful friends and all decided to start a Dinner Club. These families will ALWAYS have such a special, special place in our hearts. They took such good care of us when we lost Maddie. We had meals, flowers, cards, visits and phone calls. Saying that they were wonderful to us is an understatement. They truly made some very dark days happier. The guys took Blake to a Mavericks game. They even bought a special star in the sky for Maddie!!! We love you all so much!!! Last year, we all took a trip to Oklahoma. It was so much fun that we have decided to make it a tradition. We are going again in October....can't wait. It is funny that when we all met just a few years ago, we didn't have any children. As you will see from the picture below, now we have a couch full!Loryn and Madison

Swimming with Avery

We have had so much fun with The Williamsons this summer! We have been swimming, to the Wonder Place, walking, playing at the park, fish fries, an Arkansas Travelors baseball game...the list goes on and on. We are so glad to have found such good friends that live close. Here are some pictures that Kimmie took of the kids one day while we were swimming.

Father's Day Weekend

We went to Nashville for Father's Day weekend. Blake was recognized at the church where we grew up, First Baptist, as the youngest father in attendance. He also won a golf tournament while we were there. So, I guess you could say he had a great Father's Day!!! He deserved it! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE watching him with Ava. He is the best Daddy! Ava and I love him so much and are very thankful to have him in our lives!
