Early Christmas

We did Christmas with my sister and her family at Nana and Pop's house last weekend. It is always crazy with three kids, but so much fun! The kids have a great time playing together! Luke got a Nerf gun from Nana and Pop. He would strategically hide in the dining room and when a new person walked in, he would pelt 'em! The girls got matching pink microphones and dress up clothes. They entertained us with a few special performances! I cherish times like this with family and all the special memories we are making.

A Christmas Performance Just For You

Ava would like to wish everyone a VERY Merry Christmas with this outstanding Christmas performance! Yes, she is really wearing a Dora swimsuit that is too little. Yes, she does have blue panties on underneath it. And yes, she is working the microphone Steven Tyler style...

Trip to See Santa

Ava was soooo excited to see Santa this year! She told him she wanted a Barbie bike and an arts and craft table. She also told him about her elf, Ron. Ha! Hopefully she is a good little girl and gets what she asked for! :)

Waiting to see Santa...sooooo excited!

Santa gave her lots of goodies!

Reindeer Pops

One of my favorite blogs to read is Slaughterhouse Rules. Angela is a wonderful writer! I look forward to reading her posts daily! Some of her posts literally make me LAUGH OUT LOUD, others are very inspirational, and she always has TONS of creative ideas that she shares. Ava and I had the best time making reindeer pops. Ava's favorite part was spreading the peanut butter inside the cookies. I didn't do a great job taking pictures. When we were done, I put them in bags (just like Angela told me to do), and Ava took them to her friends at school yesterday. Click HERE to see Angela's instructions and pictures! Here are the very few pics that I got. We had fun!!! Thanks Angela for all your ideas!

I had to add this picture, too. I thought it was so sweet! I LOVE being her Mommy!

AVA IS THREE!!!

We had Ava's 3rd birthday party on Saturday, December 4th, at The Wonder Place. Her actual birthday was the 6th. Ava requested a DORA party so we went with that theme. She had an ear infection and wasn't her normal cheery little self, but I could tell she still LOVED her party. She had been talking about it for months! I really cannot believe our baby girl is THREE YEARS OLD! She is growing up way too fast. Blake and I couldn't be more proud to be her parents!!!

One of many...

This is one of the many Christmas outfits I have been working on for Ava. I really do have an obsession with her clothes and it is so fun to make them myself. My sister and I ordered a BUNCH of plain shirts and dresses for our kids. Now we are busy embroidering them! This was one of the simple red dresses. Simple...plain...red...I added the cute Christmas hat applique and TA-DA...it's FANCY! Once again, how AWESOME is my model?!?! More cute Christmas creations by Kacey to come....stay tuned!

I LOVE this picture!!!

I was just going through some of my pictures and found this one. Did I mention I LOVE this picture? It is just one of my favorites and I wanted it on the blog. It was taken several weeks ago. Blake had been out of town for a few nights with work and this was taken right when he got home. Ava was so excited to see him as she always is. She asked me to take her picture with Daddy! Precious! I think it is so cute of her and as always Blake looks mighty fine himself! Love these two!

Love this one, too! Mom kept Ava for us while we were on our Buffalo River trip. She managed to get this one that weekend. So good I thought!

Trick or Treat!

Ava wanted to be Dorothy this year for Halloween. She wanted Mommy to be Auntie Em and Daddy to be Uncle Henry, but we had to disappoint her on that one...sorry Ava! I made her Dorothy dress. It was a proud Mommy moment. It only cost $14 to make...pattern and all! The pattern came with three other costumes that she could possibly choose from next year!

The Williamsons came to our house to trick or treat. Avery was a cute little Indian and Sutton was a sweet bear!

Pumpkin Carving

Ava wanted a Dora pumpkin this year. Luckily she has a talented Daddy that, with the help of the Nick Jr. pumpkin stencils, carved her the perfect Dora pumpkin! I don't know who was more proud of the finished project...Daddy or Ava? I must say...it was pretty good! Must better than THIS snowman attempt last Winter. Good job Blake! We love you!

GSFest

Our church does a WONDERFUL Fall carnival, GSFest. The Williamson family came with us this year. A good time was had by all!!! The kids LOVED all the rides!
Daddy and Ava on the bear ride

Pony ride...I couldn't believe she actually did this one!

Avery and Ava on the motorcycle ride

Ava was excited to feed Sutton his bottle :) Kimmie is so sweet to let Ava feel like she is really helping!
