Baby Jake

We welcomed our sweet, sweet boy into this world on Thursday, August 25, 2011 at 12:19 p.m. He weighed 8 pounds and 6 ounces. He was 20 inches long. Baby Jake was taken immediately to the NICU due to him having breathing difficulties. He is still there and we expect him to be for several more days. Our God had his healing hand on Jake while he was in my belly, during delivery and still does right this minute. I believe the Lord is healing him now only the way that our AWESOME GOD can! Jake started at 60% oxygen and that has already been taken down to 31% as of this morning. He is slowly improving. Two tests, one of his heart and the other of his brain, have both come back normal. Praise Jesus! Jake is just precious!!! He looks so much like Blake to me. We love him more than any words I could type right now could express. Our little family is complete thanks to this precious little man. Big sister Ava is VERY proud. We are all ready for him to get well soon so we can hold him and take him home.
